Marianne and Paul - Fontenot Grand Mansion

Marianne and Paul were married December 27th at The Fontenot Grand Mansion in Spring, Texas. I've included a handful of images from their Engagement session in Austin to start the slideshow.

Erin and Christian - Wedding in Tunisia

Because it's Christmas time I thought I'd repost the album from one of my favorite weddings. Erin and Christian were married in Tunisia, a small North African nation on the Mediterranean Sea.

We began with Engagement photos the first day. The Wedding Day was next, and then we concluded with the "Day After" photography session of all time...

Wedding Album - Sarah & Will

Here is the wedding album we designed from Sarah and Will's wedding day. A fun reception at La Colombe D'Or followed their ceremony at St. Paul's UMC.

This is an example of our "Clean and Modern" look, where the images are presented in a clean and elegant format. Backgrounds are mostly either black or white with occasional thin keylines added to the photos.

Album from Wedding in Plantersville, Texas - St. Mary Catholic Church

Mandy and Darin were married out in the country in Plantersville on May 17th, 2008 in St. Mary Catholic Church. One of the famous "Painted Churches," the current building dates to 1918. It is one of the most beautiful churches I've ever photographed.

Austin Engagement Session

On Sunday we continued our busy weekend with a fun Engagement session in Austin with Marianne and Paul, who will be getting married in Houston on December 27th.

Tiffany & F.J.

Rachel and Mark were married October 4th, 2008 in beautiful St. Michael's Orthodox Church in Beaumont, Texas.

A great reception party was held at The Neches Room on Crockett Street in downtown Beaumont immediately following the ceremony. Twigs Florist provided the lovely flowers.

Kelsey and Bethany were married October 3rd in The Woodlands at the amazing Fellowship of The Woodlands Church. The reception was held at the beautiful Woodlands Resort and Conference Center immediately following the ceremony.

In July I traveled to Nashville, Tennessee to photograph their Engagement session and I've included a few of those photographs to begin the slideshow.

Susan and Joel were married September 20th at St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church in Stafford. A beautiful reception followed at the Hilton Post Oak in the Galleria area.

Martha & Brian - Hotel Galvez

Martha and Brian were married August 2nd in Galveston at the beautiful Hotel Galvez. It was an honor to be chosen by Martha to photograph her wedding as she and two of her bridesmaids are professional photographers themselves.

From the Converse sneakers that the Bride and Groom each wore, to the Dr. Pepper toasts, to the after-wedding photo session at an abandoned railroad car, this was a truly wonderful and unique wedding.

Marina & Eric - June 1, 2008

Marina and Eric, one of the nicest couples ever, were married yesterday at Hellenic Eastern Orthodox Church here in Houston. Mini-slideshow - St. Mary's Catholic Church

There is no music on this brief slideshow, but I wanted to show a few images from a beautiful church I had not previously photographed.

Darin & Mandy were married May 17th at 3 o'clock in the afternoon in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, Texas. Built in 1917, the church was recently restored to its original appearance.

A great C&W band, The Posse, performed at the reception. I had a little fun capturing some different looks with the band's images... What do you think? Don't worry, there are a lot of "regular" images of the band too, but what's wrong with showing something a little different? Hope you like the slideshow!

Colorado Engagement Photos!

Tiffany and F.J. are going to be married here in Houston on October 11th. However, since they are both graduates of the University of Colorado, (go Buffs!) we all thought Boulder and the surrounding area would be a great location for photographs.



And yes, those are snow flurries! Fortunately, the weather soon changed and by mid-afternoon we had blue skies the rest of the day. Tiffany said that it is unusual to have snow the last weekend of April.

On Saturday, April 5th, I photographed Trey and Julia's awesome wedding day at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston.

Ginger & Chris - Wedding at Paraiso Maravilla

Ginger & Chris were married March 28th at the beautiful Paraiso Maravilla and the prevailing theme for their wedding was FUN, FUN, FUN!

As a proud Scotsman Chris naturally wore his kilt - complete with sporran, flashes, and Sgian Dubh. ( www.scottish-history.com )

With so many people coming from so far away Ginger told me she wanted lots of candid images of their guests having a great time, which wasn't hard since the DJ and Bagpipe player had everyone dancing!

This Sunday I photographed another wonderful couple - Jennifer and Tim. There are so many more nice images, but here are a few of my favorites.

Are they a romantic couple? Well, these are the outfits they were wearing the day Tim proposed to Jenn. Awwww......



Then we changed into something more casual for some fun shots at a cool graffiti wall downtown.



It turned cold by the time we arrived in Galveston, but they were really good sports!


What a great time we had! I can hardly wait to photograph the wedding!
